Mal Goodman

    Mal Goodman has been teaching Guitar and Bass since 1986, and has been at Moe's Music since 1992.  In that time he has taught over 4000 students.

    Mal has worked with several bands, including Sinner, Manitou, White Rose, and 2001, as well as being seriously considered for membership in national touring acts such as Deadly Weapon and Jazan Wild.  He has also played guitar for (not with) Yngwie Malmsteen and Jake E. Lee.

    Recently, Mal has performed with the Virginia Beach Kiss Tribute Band: Shock Me, where he played Ace Frehley.  In this role, he has also played with another tribute band, Love Gun, and was chosen to be in the national Best of the Best Kiss Tribute Band.

    Mal's lessons are geared toward the individual student with focused and tailored lesson plans designed to get the most out of each session without exceeding the student's abilities and without too much repetition.  His students have been successful in many areas, with four of them having recorded CD's for major record labels, a few moving on to prestigious music schools, and one even touring with Powerman 5000 as an opening act.

    Mal's future plans include world domination and achieving immortality through refusing to die.
