Lessons ABOUT THE MOE'S MUSIC SCHOOL LESSON PROGRAM: Playing a musical instrument is a uniquely personal experience that allows you to share your individuality with others. No one will ever sound quite like you. Whether you play alone in your room or in a coliseum, in church or in a punk band, your voice on your instrument is unique. And our teachers help you find and develop that voice. And it revolves around a simple concept: the more comfortable you are with music in general and your instrument in particular, the easier it is to express yourself musically. We try to offer lessons that are tailored to the student's pace, background and interests, as only private lessons can. Our teachers don't just drill students on scales and dry exercises, but include elements of style, theory and harmony, ear training, improvisation and exposure to a range of musical idioms. MOE'S MUSIC SCHOOL Teachers: 7 Students enrolled: 250 - 300 Lessons taught annually: 13,000 MOE'S MUSIC SCHOOL HOW MUCH ARE LESSONS? Music lesson tuition is $21.00 per lesson, or $84 for 4 private lessons per month. WHO DO I PAY? You pay your instructor by cash or check. No credit card payments are accepted for music lessons. WHEN ARE TUITION PAYMENTS DUE? All payments are due on the first of each month. (See your teacher for details) I PAY ALL MY BILLS WITH MY CREDIT CARD, CAN I PAY FOR LESSONS WITH MY CARD? Sorry, payments must be made by cash or check only. HOW LONG ARE THE LESSONS? Lessons start every 30 minutes and run approximately 25 - 28 minutes. This leaves time for unpacking or packing your instrument as well as any necessary student/parent/teacher discussion. WHAT IF I MISS A LESSON? Students are expected to attend all lessons. There is no reduction in tuition or any refund due if a student misses a lesson. You have paid your teacher for his or her availability. WHAT IF THE INSTRUCTOR MISSES A LESSON? Students will receive a tuition credit if the instructor must cancel a lesson. ARE THERE ANY MAKEUP LESSONS? Due to the size and complexity of our lesson program there are no times available for makeup lessons. (See your instructor for details) ARE THERE REFUNDS? There are no refunds for any reason.
