Larry Emanuel

    Larry Emanuel has over 35 years of experience in Drums and Percussion, teaching, performing and studio session work and has been teaching at Moe's music since 1994.

    He studied privately with John Lindberg, principal timpanist with the Virginia Symphony Orchestra, and Jim Barbour, as well as attending the Old Dominion University Music program.

    Larry has done a great deal of recording and session work, including an original score for P.B.S. and music for a NASA video, as well as countless commercial jingles.  He has also worked with such recognized artists as World renowned guitarist Stephen Bennett and Sting.

    Currently, Larry is playing percussion for celebrated local acoustic artist Jesse Chong.
