Bill McClure

"You're never too old to learn something new."

    Bill has been teaching guitar and bass at Moe's Music since 2002, during which time he has enjoyed the love of his students and the respect of his peers.

    Born in Akron, Ohio, Bill began playing guitar in 1974.  He piddled and plucked around for a long time until, during an extended Indian Ocean Cruise (Compliments of the U.S. Navy), he decided to buckle down and become a real musician.

    Bill has played in bar bands in Spain (Sundown), Iceland (Joker), Virginia and North Carolina. (No Exit, Naked by Noon, Loaded, The Remainders, Area 3)He also enjoys home recording.

    Recently, Bill has played Bass for Chasing Shadows and Dame's Rocket, local original/cover bands.

    His lessons are geared towards the needs of the individual student, and he has a ceaseless desire to search out new ways to make each lesson informative and entertaining.
